New from e-con Systems is the Tara USB 3.0 stereo vision camera, which is bundled with a software development kit with full source code for application development on top of OpenCV, enabling customers to develop their own stereo vision camera-based applications. The camera features two 1/3" MT9V024 monochrome CMOS image sensors from ON Semiconductor. MT9V024 sensors are WVGA CMOS sensors that capture images at 60 fps. The pre-calibrated sensors are separated by a base line of 60 mm on an S-Mount (M12) lens mount. Additionally, the Tara camera feature 8-bit/10-bit monochrome output format, synchronous parallel monochrome 10-bit video data at 60 fps per sensor, and external trigger support.
