Infrared image sensor from New Imaging Technologies features wide dynamic range
April 27, 2016
Featuring a spectral response range of 900 nm to 1700 nm, the NSC1401 infrared image sensor from New Imaging Technologies operates in wide dynamic range (up to 140 db), and global shutter modes. The NSC1401 is a 320 x 256 InGaAs infrared detector with a 25 µm pixel pitch that can achieve a frame rate of up to 300 fps. An analog front end is designed to achieve low input noise and fast response time down to 200 ns. The sensor is also able to operate in both linear integration mode and in log response and features full digital control of image parameters such as software selectable regions of interest, and selectable integration modes. Additionally, the NSC1401 can operate without TEC within an ambient temperature range from -40°F to 158°F.
