On display at Alysium Tech booth at The Vision Show 2016 in Boston from May 3-5 will be a number of USB 3.0 assemblies, including the A+GENERATION - Alysium USB 3.0 A and USB 3.0 micro B assemblies. A+ Rj45 assemblies will also be on display. These patent-pending screw lock bracket systems target machine vision applications. Lastly, Alysium will showcase its USB 3.1 Type C connectors (pictured), which are designed for a minimum of 10,000 mating cycles with an optimized architecture for the bi-directional high-speed data transfer of 10 Gbps and power transmission of 100 Watts (20 V, 5 A). In addition to a performance increase over USB 3.0, USB 3.1 features a new hardware interface, the USB Type C connector, which offers two major advantages: It is reversible, meaning you can plug in the connector either way; and it fits to the host as well as the peripheral, so the cable can also be plugged in either way.
