Hyperspectral imaging conference focuses on current and future for hyperspectral imaging for industry
CHII2016 (Conference of Hyperspectral Imaging in Industry), will bring together multidisciplinary companies and organizations from June 15-16 in Graz, Austria to discuss the current and future of hyperspectral imaging developments for industrial applications.
The first ever conference of its kind will bring together the main stakeholders in the field of hyperspectral imaging, allowing visitors to exchange knowledge and to plan for future collaboration projects. It will feature a number of presentations, seminars, showcases, and a brokerage event for pre-planned face-to-face meetings.
On the first day of the conference, explained Manfred Pail, CFO, Marketing and Sales at Perception Park (a co-organizer of the event), various companies and organizations in the machine vision and imaging field will give short presentations on their latest industrial developments and products within the field of hyperspectral imaging. The second day, which is a training day, will offer four seminars relating to hyperspectral imaging, which include:
- Spectral imaging: How to select the most suitable technology for your application
- Analysis of hyperspectral data for multivariate data analysis
- Hyperspectral imaging in industry
- Machine learning and hyperspectral imaging
By placing the focus on industry in general, this will allow for the exchange of experience between participants from various fields of application, including aerospace, food processing, recycling, and the medical/pharmaceutical areas. With this goal in mind, SpectroNet,ECO World Styria, and human.technology Styria, together with Perception Park, decided to launch the conference, which is also supported by the Enterprise Europe Network, the Styrian Business Promotion Agency, and the Graz University of Technology.
