Eight new Basler ace industrial cameras are now available with PYTHON CMOS image sensors from ON Semiconductor and with the company’s 2016 Innovators Award-winning PGI feature set, which is an in-camera image optimization tool for color cameras based on a combination of 5 x 5 de-Bayering, color anti-aliasing and de-noising. The new models feature the 2.3 MPixel PYTHON 2000 CMOS sensor, which achieves a frame rate of 150 fps over USB 3.0 and 50 fps over GigE, as well as the 5 MPixel PYTHON 5000 CMOS sensor, which achieves a frame rate of 60 fps over USB 3.0 and 21 fps over GigE.
