In-Sight Micro 8000 smart cameras from Cognex are available in a compact, 31 x 31 x 63 mm size, and are available in multiple image sensor sizes. The 8400, 8200, 8401, and 8402 models feature a 1/1.8” global shutter CMOS image sensor (640 x 480, 1280 x 1024, and 1600 x 1200 sizes, respectively), while the 8405 features a 1/2.5” rolling shutter 2592 x 1944 CMOS image sensor. All models are set up with In-Sight Explorer software and In-Sight vision tools, including pattern matching (PatMax Redline, PatMax, and PatFind), filtering (grayscale and color), color tools (color ID, true color extraction, color histogram), inspect details (surface flax, flex flaw, inspect edge), and ID (1D, 2D, OCR). In addition, the smart cameras feature Power over Ethernet, GigE Vision interface, C-Mount lens mount, and frame rates up to 200 fps.
