The GL-S safety light curtain from Keyence is designed for industrial automation applications where space constraints are a factor, as the GL-S are approximately half the size of existing Keyence light curtains (15mm slim and 23mm flat). GL-S light curtains feature infrared LED lighting (870 nm), a 0.3’ to 6.6’ operating range, a 14° to 122°F temperature operating range, and IP65/IP67 enclosures. Three color status indicators allow the curtain’s operational status to be easily seen from any angle, and the indicators can also be externally controlled to illuminate green, red, and orange in order to indicate work steps. Keyence light curtains are designed to provide safety and efficiency in manufacturing and industrial environments.
