Raptor has released a deep cooled vacuum version of its Kingfisher CCD camera which features a Sony ICX694 CCD image sensor with 4.54 µm x 4.54 µm pixel size. The 6 MPixel Kingfisher V camera features a quantum efficiency of 77% at 525 nm, a low dark current of 0.000001 e/p/s, and readout noise of less than 1.5 electrons (Global shutter). The camera is fully compatible with XCAP image analysis software from EPIX, and also features a Camera Link interface, a C-Mount lens, and an operating temperature range of -4°F to 131°F (-20°C to 55°C). Kingfisher V cameras are suitable for use in fluorescence imaging, astronomy, spectroscopy, bio and chemi- luminescence, and solar cell inspection applications.
