Teledyne DALSA adds Shad-o-Box CMOS-based X-ray detectors

Teledyne DALSA has introduced two new models in its Shad-O-Box HS CMOS-based X-ray detector product line with the Shad-o-Box 688 HS and 1548 HS. These detectors are suitable for use in industrial, biomedical, scientific imaging, and electronics inspection applications.

Teledyne DALSA has introduced two new models in its Shad-O-Box HSCMOS-based X-ray detector product line with the Shad-o-Box 688 HS and 1548 HS. These new models feature 1032 x 688 and 1032 x 1548 pixels, respectively, with active areas of 10.2 x 6.8 cm and 10.2 x 15.3 cm. Both models feature a 99 µm pixel size, software development kits, drivers, and programming support. In addition, the 688 HS model delivers near-XGA resolution. The detectors are capable of frame rates up to 30 fps and communicate via standard Cat5e data cable with lengths up to 100m. Both detectors are suitable for use in industrial, biomedical, scientific imaging, and electronics inspection applications.
