Color line scan cameras operate in dual modes

e2v’s two color versions of its ELiiXA+ monochrome cameras provide line rates up to 95,000 lines per second. The 5μm pixel size of the CMOS imagers are arranged in four active lines. A dual line filter configuration allows the cameras to be operated in either a true color mode or a full definition mode. A 16k/8k pixel resolution model is available with a CoaXPress interface, whilst an 8k/4k model supports a Camera Link interface. Applications include document scanning and the inspection of printing, flat panel displays, printed circuit boards, food, pharmaceutical and high quality raw material surfaces.
