Laser Components' machine-vision laser generates 638-nm line
With an output power of 400 mW, the FLEXPOINT MVgiga machine-vision laser generates a line at a wavelength of 638 nm for3-D image processing applications. The power supply uses a SUB-D9 plug; the laser can operate with input voltages between 4.5 and 30 VDC without any change in laser properties. The MVgiga emits a fine and focusable line with a homogeneous power distribution along the line.

NEW PRODUCT PRESS RELEASE
High-Power Laser for Use in Image Processing
FLEXPOINT MVgiga with a Powerful 400 mW
With an output power of 400 mW the machine vision laser FLEXPOINT MVgiga generates a line at a wavelength of 638 nm. But this is just the beginning: Soon a model with an output power of 1 W will be available!
The MVgiga emits a fine and focusable line with a homogeneous power distribution along the line. This is a common feature among lasers of this series. The connection of the power supply using a SUB-D9 plug is convenient! There is little demand on the voltage supply; in fact, the laser can work with anything between 4.5 and 30 VDC. Needless to say, the properties of the laser do not change according to different input voltages. It is also possible to set or trigger the power of the laser using a control wire.
Typical applications of the MVgiga laser include 3D measurements, for example, in the steel industry.
