Frame grabber works with notebooks

FrameLink Express is a Camera Link frame grabber designed for ExpressCard laptops. The video-capture card allows users to view and store real-time megapixel video images from two Camera Link sources on their notebook computers. Each captured frame can be stamped with a customizable user message along with the date and time of capture. The ExpressCard/54 interface (x1 lane PCIe) provides 2.5-Gbit/s bandwidth.

Each captured frame can be stamped with a customizable user message along with the date and time of capture. The ExpressCard/54 interface (x1 lane PCIe) provides 2.5-Gbit/s bandwidth. The frame grabber features a flow-through pipelined architecture with an intelligent scatter/gather DMA engine to provide more than 200 Mbytes/s of throughput. A software suite, including drivers and an application program, is provided with the card.
