Edmund Optics has announced the release of its TECHSPEC UV-NIR neutral density filters, which are used to attenuate light from the ultraviolet (UV) to the near-infrared (NIR) (190-1700 nm) for use in a variety of applications. The filters provide constant, ultra-violet performance and are available in 12.5, 25, and 50 mm diameter sizes and optical densities of 0.3, 0.5, 1.0, 1.3, 1.5 and 2.0. In addition, the filters can be stacked to create intermediate density values of optimal value and ease of use. Edmund Optics UV-NIR neutral density filters are suitable for use in machine vision, spectroscopy, or ellipsometry.
