FRAMOS has expanded its machine vision operations into North America with the opening of FRAMOS Technologies Inc. in Ottawa, Canada.
Headquartered in Munich, Germany, FRAMOS now has six additional subsidiaries worldwide with offices in England, Italy, France, Russia, Taiwan, and now, Canada.
"Our aim is to enable our customers as manufacturers, system integrators, and researchers to apply and benefit from machine vision and imaging technologies. Based on the disproportional demand from North America and our excellent on-site industry network, we are extremely excited to complete our global imaging services and to continue the growth of FRAMOS," said Dr. Andreas Franz, CEO of FRAMOS, in a press release.
FRAMOS has more than 30 years of experience in the industry, offering camera customizing, imaging components development, technical pre-sales, prototype development, and machine vision equipment distribution services. At the upcoming AIA Vision Show, which will be held April15-17 in Boston, FRAMOS will launch its complete machine vision portfolio.
