NVision releases RoboScanner portable robotic laser scanner
NVision has announced the release of the RoboScanner, a lightweight turnkey laser scanning system that offers automated scanning with 3D analysis. The RoboScanner features a blue-light scanning system that can capture more than 500,000 points in less than 0.2 seconds. The laser scanners are also designed with integrated software for programming and enable the capturing of scan positions and detect path interference in real time to avoid collisions. The RoboScanner utilizes six axes and offer an accuracy as high as +/- .002” or +/- 0.050mm with a resolution as fine as .0005” or .012 mm. RoboScanners are suitable for use in parts measurement, automotive manufacturing, and other factory automation applications.
