Innovations in Optics releases fiber coupled light engine for white LEDs
Innovations in Optics’ 2400B-510 fiber coupled light engine is designed for high luminous flux, white LED illumination into optical fibers, bundles, and light guides sized from 1 to 3 mm in diameter. The light engine, which has an SMA 905 fiber optic connector, features patented technologies that encompass non-imaging optics with chip-on-board metallic substrates to provide both optimum luminous efficacy and thermal management. The 2400B-510 fiber coupled light engine is suitable for use in endoscope and microscope illuminator applications. Innovations in Optics will showcase the 2400B-510 at SPIE Photonics West 2014 in San Francisco from February 1-6.
