FLIR releases three new models of optical gas imaging cameras

FLIR Systems Inc. has launched three new models of infrared cameras for optical gas detection: the FLIR G300a, G300pt and A6604, all of which are suitable for use in industrial settings such as oil refineries, natural gas processing plants, offshore platforms, chemical/ petrochemical facilities, and biogas and power generation plants.

FLIR Systems Inc. has launched three new models of infrared cameras for optical gas detection:the FLIR G300a, G300pt and A6604, all of which are suitable for use in industrial settings such as oil refineries, natural gas processing plants, offshore platforms, chemical/ petrochemical facilities, and biogas and power generation plants. Each of the new models features a cooled InSb detector, with the G300a and G300pt equipped with a 320 x 240 pixel array and the A6604 equipped with a 640 x 512 pixel array. The cameras are controllable via Ethernet or can be integrated into any TCP/IP network. The G300a and A6604 cameras require an additional housing while the G300pt comes with its own housing mounted on a pan/tilt mechanism.

All three models can detect the following gases: Benzene, Ethanol, Ethylbenzene, Heptane, Hexane, Isoprene, Methanol, MEK, MIBK, Octane, Pentane, 1-Pentene, Toluene, Xylene, Butane, Ethane, Methane, Propane, Ethylene, and Propylene.
