USB3 Vision cameras from Imaging Solutions Group now compatible with A&B Software SDKs
Imaging Solutions Group has announced full interoperability between its LightWise Allegro USB3 Vision cameras and ActiveUSB software development kit (SDK) from A&B Software.
The most recently released set of LightWise Allegro cameras from Imaging Solutions Group support the USB3 Vision standard and are equipped with tools for automatic image correction and enhancement, arbitrary image scaling with anti-aliasing, independent configurable gamma correction, selectable output data formats, and lens shading correction. The cameras feature image sensors from CMOSIS, ON Semiconductor, Sony, Aptina, and now Truesense Imaging, including 1/2" and 2/3" formats.
ActiveUSB from A&B Software is the latest addition to a series of universal camera SDKs and drivers which allow developers and system integrators to facilitate a rapid application development in a number of popular programming environments including Visual Studio, Visual Basic (VB), Delphi, PowerBuilder, Java, Matlab, Python, & Labview. ActiveUSB also offers property dialog boxes with full control over the camera attributes and also comes with TWAIN and DirectShow drivers for a universal plug-and-play interface between USB3 Vision cameras and third-party imaging and video recording applications.
Boris Nalibotski, president of A&B Software, said in a press release that A&B has been a long-standing partner of ISG, but the new interoperability provides additional benefits for users.
"A seamless operation of new ISG cameras with our USB3 Vision SDK clearly shows the benefits of developing hardware and software compliant with industrial vision standards," he said.
Co-founder of Imaging Solutions Group Kerry Van Iseghem agreed, noting that ISG is pleased to be working to A&B to support their SDKs, and that customers will be pleased with the ability to ensure standards compliance.
