After showcasing the first model of the NEON-1040 smart camera at the AIA Vision Show in April, ADLINK Technology, Inc. is officially launching the quad core x86 smart camera. The NEON-1040 is equipped with the Intel Atom Quad Core Processor E3845 1.9 GHz and features a 1" global shutter CMOSIS CMV4000 image sensor with 5.5 µm x 5.5 µm pixel size that achieves a frame rate of 60 fps.
The 4 MPixel open-architecture smart camera features GigE, USB 2.0, and RS-232 ports, as well as a C-Mount lens mount, and 32GB storage for image processing, programs, and archiving. In addition, the NEON-1040 features IP67 protective housing, M12 connectors, built-in PWN lighting control, and software support with STEMMER Common Vision Blox, MVTec HALCON, and other machine vision software. The NEON-1020, a 2 MPixel x86 smart camera that achieves a frame rate 120 fps, will also be released with the NEON-1040.
