Opto Engineering has announced the release of its LTCLHP series of telecentric illuminators, which feature built-in electronics and are designed for use in machine vision systems. The built-in electronics in the illuminators ensure constant current flow through the LED source and also lower the noise level to the minimum. LTCLHP illuminators are available in red (630 nm), green (520 nm), blue (460 nm), and white models. The illuminators offer higher edge contrast compared to diffused back light illuminators which enables higher measurement accuracy. In addition, the lights feature a minimum DC voltage of 12V and power consumption of less than 2.5W. Opto Engineering’s new illuminators are suitable for use in packaging, pharmaceutical inspection, automotive manufacturing, electronics inspection, and other factory automation applications.
