As a result of many inquiries on the possibility of an extension of our early-bird discount deadline for our awards program, we are going to honor the early bird rate through the holidays.

Specifically, if applications are started during the holiday period through January 2, and completed in a timely manner thereafter, we are happy to honor the early-bird rate of $395, as opposed to the regular fee of $495.

For those of who you may be unfamiliar with the program, here is the rundown:

The Vision Systems Design 2015 Innovators Awards program recognizes and rewards the most innovative products and services in the global machine vision and image processing industry. We have a panel of nine judges, which consists of systems integrators, consultants, and research and development professionals with years of experience in specifying, designing, and configuring image processing and machine vision systems.

Submissions will be evaluated for:

  • Originality
  • Innovation
  • Impact on designers, systems integrators, end users
  • Fulfilling a need in the market that hasn’t been addressed
  • Leveraging a novel technology
  • Increasing productivity

These awards will be given to companies or organizations that demonstrate excellence in a product or technology, an application, or in research and development. Manufacturers of non-industrial vision, factory automation, boards and software, cameras, and lighting and lenses are encouraged to submit their product or service for review. Companies may nominate themselves, or vendors whose products were utilized in the development of the system can nominate the integrator.

The awards will be announced at AUTOMATE 2015, held in Chicago, Illinois, USA from March 23-26.
