Smart Vision Lights has entered into a partnership with Gardasoft Vision to provide LED lighting solutions enabled with Gardasoft’s new system-enabling Triniti technology worldwide.

Triniti technology is a patented method of adding intelligence and integration into machine vision lighting products. It provides integration to industry-standard image processing packages and smart cameras and is able to achieve this by integrating a Triniti Chip in each light, while also providing integrated communications from the light to a controller. Integration into image processing hardware is provided through software and industry-standard protocols such as GigE Vision.

A Triniti chip is built into each light by the manufacturer, and this chip holds the fixed and variable data and provides communication to a lighting controller. This includes fixed information about the light, such as model number and electrical characteristics and variable data such as the conditions in which the light is being used. In addition, the Triniti Chip can also interface into a number of sensors in the light, such as temperature and intensity sensors.

With Triniti technology, machine vision systems with LED lighting are easier to create, configure, and commission while simultaneously increasing functionality. Smart Vision Lights now offers the following Triniti-enabled LED lights, which will integrate into machine vision networks and connect directly to the Triniti controller: GRD-S75 Brick Spot Light, the GRD-L300 Linear Light, the GRD-R80 Ring Light, and the GRD-R130 Ring Light. These lights were showcased at the Smart Vision Lights booth at VISION 2014.
