Edmund Optics has introduced an expanded line of standard anti-reflection coatings that includes previous highly-requested custom AR coatings.

Edmund Optics has introduced an expanded line of standard anti-reflection coatings that includes previous highly-requested custom AR coatings. The new broadband AR (BBAR) coatings are currently offered on off-the-shelf Plano-Convex (PCX) lenses and can be applied to any uncoated optics. The expanded line includes a YAG-BBAR coating, which is a broadband coating from 500-1100 nm that is optimized for low reflection at both 532 nm and 1064 nm. It also includes a VIS-EXT BBAR coating, which reduces reflection from 350-700 nm. PCX lenses are suitable for use in collecting and focusing light in imaging applications.
