Teledyne DALSA has announced the release of its latest Linea CMOSline scan camera, an 8k Camera Link model that reaches line rates of up to 80 kHz. The monochrome camera features an 8192 x 1 CMOS line scan image sensor with a 7.04 µm x 7.04 µm pixel size and enhanced near-infrared responsivity. The camera supports Camera Link cables up to 10 meters, has four regions of interest for data reduction, and programmable and flexible triggering. In addition, the 8k camera has GenICam and ASCII-compliant interfacing and M72 x 0.75 mount hole for lens adapters. Linea 8k line scan cameras are suitable for use in such machine vision applications as web inspection, food and beverage inspection, and pharmaceutical inspection.
