e-con Systems introduces USB 3.0 near infrared camera
e-con Systems has announced the launch of the See3CAM 12CUNIR camera, which is a small form-factor pluggable camera solution that houses the e-CAM10_CU0130_MOD camera. The e-CAM10_CU0130_MOD features a 1.3 MPixel AR0130 CMOS monochrome image sensor from Aptina with enhanced sensitivity in the near infrared region. The new USB 3.0 camera supports 720p at 60 fps and full resolution (1280 x 960) at 45 fps. In addition, an S-Mount lens holder and the optional CS-Mount holder allow users to work with various lenses and optical filters to suit their application requirements. The UVC-compliant camera is plug-and-play in both Windows and Linux and features 12-bit data output and external triggering.
