Vision Components will showcase its brand new line of smart cameras, which feature Linux firmware and dual-core ARM processors, at VISION 2014. The VC Z series of smart cameras feature five CMOS image sensor options ranging up to 4.2 MPixels, one trigger input, one flash trigger output, interface options, and a new Xilink hardware module that integrates FPGA logic and a dual core ARM processor, both of which can be programmed. Models include the 40 x 65 mm VCSBC nano Z, the 80 x 45 x 20 mm VC nano Z, and the 90 x 58 x 36 mm VC pro Z. The cameras also come with Vision Components VC Lib image processing library.
