Automation Technology to launch two new 3D sensors at VISION 2014
Two new models of 3D sensors will debut at Automation Technology’s VISION 2014 booth: The C5-Series and the C2-CS Sensors. C5 sensors (pictured) utilize laser triangulation for the scanning of objects at resolutions up to 12 MPixels while providing measurement speeds of up to 14,000 profiles per second.
C2-CS-sensors, which also utilize laser triangulation, are available in 2048 x 1088, 1600 x 1088 or 648 x 488 pixel sizes and deliver profile frequencies of up to 25 kHz. The sensors are designed for working distances between 60mm and 740mm, which enable measurement ranges up to 1060 mm and 800 mm. Both sensor models feature a GigE Vision-compliant GigE interface and support such scan 3D functions as automatic AOI tracking and auto-start.
