Thermoteknix to showcase uncooled long wave infrared cameras at SPIE DSS 2014

Thermoteknix Systems Ltd. will showcase its new GigE MicroCAM 2 uncooled long wave infrared cameras, which feature digital image processing from GRIP PCs from Vision4ce, with whom the company is sharing a booth, at SPIE DSS 2014 from May 5-9 in Baltimore, MD. MicroCam 2 GigE cameras feature Amorphous Silicon (ASi) detectors in 384 x 288 or 640 x 480 array sizes and 25 µm x 25 µm or 17 µm x µm pixel size. The cameras feature a spectral response of 8 µm to 12 µm and achieve frame rates of 60 fps (MicroCAM 384), and 30 fps (MicroCAM 640). In addition, the MicroCAM cameras feature boresight adjustable reticules, <0.6W power consumption, shutterless technology, and silent operation.
