Toshiba Imaging releases 3CMOS 1080p camera with near-infrared capabilities

Toshiba Imaging has introduced the IK-HD5, a progressive scan, full HD1080p/1080i 2.1 MPixel camera with three 1/2.9” CMOS image sensors.

Toshiba Imaging has introduced the IK-HD5, a progressive scan, full HD1080p/1080i 2.1 MPixel camera with three 1/2.9” CMOS image sensors. The camera features a removable optical low-pass filter for dual-mode imaging applications in visible light and infrared spectrums, as well as expanded menu functions for red filter infrared mode and approximately 3dB increased sensitivity in the near infrared. In addition, the camera features a binning mode for up to 4x increased sensitivity, an image flip and mirror function, five user-configurable settings files, A C-Mount lens mount, remote control access via RS-232, and up to 1,000 TV lines resolution. The IK-HD5 camera is suitable for use in endoscopy, surgical microscopy, ophthalmology, infrared inspection, defense imaging, and machine vision inspection applications.
