Point Grey Research announces new distributor in Taiwan

FEBRUARY 4, 2009--Point Grey Research (Richmond, BC, Canada; www.ptgrey.com), a supplier of advanced digital camera systems, has appointed Apo Star Co. Ltd., which distributes machine-vision and microscopy cameras, as its sole distributor in Taiwan.

Headquartered in Taipei City, Apo Star will market, sell, and support all Point Grey products in Taiwan, including Point Grey's line of IEEE-1394 (FireWire) and USB 2.0 cameras. Point Grey expects that distribution through Apo Star will provide regional customers with faster response times and local technical support.
