MultiPix Imaging signs distribution agreement with FLIR

MultiPix Imaging (Petersfield, UK), a supplier of machine vision components, announced that it has entered into an agreement with FLIR Systems (Portland, OR, USA), a maker of thermal imaging cameras.

Julie Busby, Technical Director at MultiPix Imaging said, "We look forward to selling and supporting the FLIR industrial camera range, which complements perfectly the current vision products offered by MultiPix Imaging in the UK."

MultiPix will specialise in the FLIR A-Series cameras, fixed mounted compact thermal imaging cameras that can be installed almost anywhere to monitor production process by detecting and measuring temperature differences and visualise heat patterns. The FLIR A-Series thermal imaging cameras are plug & play devices that can work together with third party machine vision imaging software, such as HALCON from MVTec Software (Munich, Germany).

MultiPix Imaging was formed in 1997 and has technical expertise in a range of products covering markets that include industrial, scientific, and medical, security, and military.
