C-Mount lens family from Computar supports 12 MPixel image sensors

New from Computar is the MPY Series of C-Mount lenses, which support a 1.1” sensor format at 12 MPixel resolution. The fixed focal length lenses support pixel sizes down to 3.45 µm and are available in focal lengths of 8, 12, 16, 25, 35, and 50 mm.

New from Computar is the MPY Series of C-Mount lenses, which support a 1.1” sensor format at 12 MPixel resolution. The fixed focal length lenses support pixel sizes down to 3.45 µm and are available in focal lengths of 8, 12, 16, 25, 35, and 50 mm. Targeting machine vision and intelligent transportation system multi-lane surveillance applications, the lenses also feature an image circle of ɸ17, a compact design, and are the smallest 1.1” format lens design for >10 MPixel lens in the industry, according to the company. MPY lenses will be introduced by Computar at Automate 2017 in Chicago, which will be held April 3-6.
