Precision optics for military applications to be showcased at SPIE DCS 2017

At SPIE DCS 2017, Precision Glass & Optics (PG&O) will showcase a range of its product offerings for military and defense applications, which include thin-film coatings, commercial optics, and precision optics (standard and customized). The company’s in-house facility specializes in plano optical components, from prisms to windows, beamsplitters, light pipes, optical mirrors and retro-reflectors, while offering a full line of thin-film filters with with anti-reflective, heat resistant, dielectric, and infrared and visual transmission qualities. Fabrication services include the abrasive waterjet technology, laser engraving, annealing, CNC machining, drilling, double-sided grinding and polishing, diamond bandsawing, slicing, scribing, and more. Additional precision optical areas of application include aerospace, biomedical, solar, imaging, digital cinema, and laser manufacturing
