High-speed infrared camera from FLIR enables research and scientific imaging
New to the X6000sc series of infrared cameras for engineers, researchers, and scientists is the X6570sc high-speed infrared camera from FLIR, which features Camera Link Base, Camera Link Medium, and GigE interfaces. The camera features a 640 x 512 mercury cadmium telluride (MCT) infrared detector with a 15 µm pixel size that can reach speeds of up to 234 fps at full resolution, and 14,550 fps with windowing and is sensitive enough to distinguish temperature differences down to 20 mK and is sensitive in the 7.7 - 9.3 µm range. With the high-speed infrared camera, users can view thermal imagery live on a detachable touchscreen LED monitor or stream 14-bit data to computer for live viewing, analysis, or recording.
