Featuring an IP67-rated housing and 206mm L x 128mm W x 91mm H size, the Vayu HD thermal camerafrom Sierra-Olympic Technologies was designed for deployment into applications including security, border protection, military imaging, airborne recon, and wide area surveillance. The camera features a 1920 x 1200 uncooled VOx microbolometer with a 12 µm pixel size, a top frame rate of 30 fps, and a longwave infrared (LWIR) spectral response of 8 to 14 µm. Vayu HD’s processor core also offers real-time extended image processing tools, electronic image stabilization, on-board image and video storage, and optional capabilities including object tracking and moving target detection. Additionally, the camera offers three video formats: HD-SDI, h.264 IP-Video, or 16-bit Camera Link output.
