In July, Basler announced it would group its ace line of industrial camerasinto three product lines: ace classic, ace U and ace L. Making up the ace L line are 12 new cameras equipped with the IMX253 (12.3 MPixel), IMX255 (8.9 MPixel), IMX267 (8.9 MPixel), and IMX304 (12.3 Mpixel) Sony Pregius global shutter CMOS image sensors. These cameras are available in color or monochrome models with either GigE or USB 3.0—depending on the model—while offering frame rates ranging from 8 fps (acA4112-8gc and acA4112-8gm), to 42 fps (acA4096-40uc/acA4096-40um). Additionally, all models are either USB3 Vision or GigE Vision compliant and feature a 3.45 µm pixel size and the unique PGI feature set for in-camera optimization (color models only.)
