Edmund Optics adds new VIS-NIR coated achromatic lenses
Optimized to correct on-axis spherical and chromatic aberrations, the TECHSPEC VIS-NIR coated achromatic lens line from Edmund Optics has been expanded with nine new models. The lenses consist of two optical components to form a doublet, and are corrected for on-axis spherical and chromatic aberrations. Additionally, the lenses’ VIS-NIR coating feature a transmission range from 400 to 1000nm and are designed for 0° angle of incidence, and optimized for less than 0.25% absolute reflectivity at 880nm. Nine models have been added to the lens family, including diameters of 12.7mm, 18mm, 30mm, and 75mm, with ground or Inked Edge models available.
