Gpixel Inc. has announced the release of three new CMOS image sensors: The GMAX0806, GSENSE2020BSI, and the GL0816.The GMAX0806 is a 43 MPixel CMOS image sensor with a 2.8 µm pixel size that achieves a frame rate of 32 fps at full resolution. The GMAX0806 (pictured) targets applications such as flat panel display inspection, astronomy and life sciences, and railway and intelligent transportation systems.
Featuring a backside illuminated scientific design, the GSENSE2020BSI is a 4 MPixel CMOS image sensor with a 6.5 µm pixel size that achieves a frame rate of 47 fps at full resolution. The GSENSE2020BSI is suitable for use in such as life sciences imaging, astronomy and scientific imaging, UV industrial inspection, and soft X-ray imaging.
Lastly, the GL0816 is a linear CMOS image sensor with an 8322 x 16 array with a 5 µm pixel size and 5 µm interline space. The GL0816 supports standard 4-line readout and max 8 lines with 2-stage on-chip time delay integrated and achieves a line rate of >100 kHz for 4-line mode at 10-bit. This linear CMOS can be deployed in film inspection, printing and label inspection, and PCB inspection applications.
