SWIR Vision Systems Inc., a startup company headquartered in Research Triangle Park, NC, USA, will introduce and display their new Acuros range of SWIR camerasat The Vision Show 2018. Based on the company’s Acuros CQD (colloidal quantum dot-based sensor) sensor technology, the cameras are available in 640 x 512, 1280 x 1024, and 1920 x 1080-pixel formats on a 15 µm pixel pitch. The cameras deliver 30-380 fps frame rates, operate over the 400-1700 nm spectral band, and communicate via USB3 Vision and GigE Vision data interfaces. The cameras are classified as non-ITAR, EAR-99 products, and are intended for use in applications including industrial machine vision, security, and agricultural imaging, among others.
