Designed for barcode reading and other 2D scanning applications, The Snappy 2M CMOS image sensor from Teledyne e2v is a 1/3” optical format CMOS image sensor with single and multi-region-of-interest modes for tracking simultaneous image regions. The 2 MPixel global shutter CMOS sensor features a 2.8 µm pixel size that is available in both black and white and color and can capture images at a rate of 100 fps at 8 bits, 68 fps at 10 bits, and 55 fps at 12 bits (full resolution.) Additionally, the sensor features MIPI CSI-2 and 1.2Gbit lanes, HDR modes for wide dynamic scenes, and unique features of high-speed scanning, including self-exposure mode and dual-trigger mode.
