Camera Link camera with 12 MPixel global shutter CMOS sensor introduced by Sony
Available in both color and monochrome models, the XCL-SG1240 camera from Sony Europe’s Image Sensing Solutions division is a Camera Link 2.0 camera that features a global shutter CMOS image sensor. The camera is based on a 1.1”, 12 MPixel Sony Pregius CMOS image sensor with a 3.45 µmpixel size that can achieve a frame rate at full resolution of 20 fps through its Camera Link interface.
Features of the new camera include area gain, shading correction, burst trigger, and Power over Camera Link. Additionally, the camera has a signal-to-noise ratio of more than 50 dB, a C-Mount lens mount, an automatic and manual gain of 0 to +18 dB, and a shutter speed that can be automatically and manually configured at 60 to 1/100,000 s.
