Expanding on its line of CX and EX industrial cameras, Baumer has released ten new models featuring rolling shutter CMOS image sensors from Sony and ON Semiconductor. The models feature 5, 10, 12, and 20 MPixel CMOS image sensors and are designed for cost-sensitive applications. All of the new Baumer cameras feature the GlobalReset function, which exposes all pixels simultaneously, so that even fast-moving objects are clearly captured at high image quality without the distortion seen with rolling shutter effects, according to the company. Available with either USB 3.0 or GigE interfaces, the cameras measure 29 x 29 mm and are available in color or monochrome versions.
