SWIR LED lighting family expanded by Metaphase Lighting Technologies
Metaphase Lighting Technologies has expanded on its line of shortwave infrared (SWIR) LED lighting by adding SWIR ring lights, fiber light engines, and the Exolight v 2.0 (Exo2) area bar light. Wavelengths available for these lights include 1050, 1200, 1350,1450, 1550 and now 1650nm. At SPIE Photonics West, SWIR products lights from Metaphase were in eight different booths. The company also offers SWIR backlights, line scan lights, and spot lights. These lights, according to the company, target applications including food inspection, solar cell and semiconductor wafer inspection, anti-counterfeiting, leak detection, and more.
