Targeting high end scientific imagingand astronomy applications, the Ninox 1280 VIS-SWIR camera from Raptor Photonics offers a dynamic range of 69 dB, enabling it to capture bright and dark portions of a scene, according to the company. The camera features a 1280 x 1024 InGaAs sensor from SCD cooled to 5°F (–15°C) with a 10 µm pixel size and offers high-sensitivity imaging from 0.4 to 1.7 μm.
Available with a 12-bit Camera Link interface, the camera reaches a frame rate of up to 60 fps and offers features such as on-board automated gain control, an on-board intelligent three-point, non-uniform correction algorithm, and both TEC and water-cooling options. Additionally, the camera comes with a range of analysis software including XCAP and Micromanager and a standard Camera Link frame grabber from EPIX.
