Cameras designed for machine vision tasks requiring high speed imaging in challenging lighting conditions.

LUCID Vision Labs has launched a new event-based vision camera line, the Triton2 EVS. Currently, two models are available, TRT009S-EC and TRT003S-EC.

The TRT009S-EC is a .9 MPixel, 1280 x 720 resolution monochrome camera equipped with C-mount lens mount. It comes with a 1 / 2.5 in Sony | Prophesee IMX636 CMOS sensor with 4.86 µm pixel size. It has a 2.5GigE M12 interface.

The TRT003S-EC is a .3 Mpixel, 640 x 512 resolution monochrome camera with C-mount lens mount. It comes with a 1 / 4.5 in Sony | Prophesee IMX637 CMOS sensor with with 4.86 µm pixel size and 2.5GigE M12 interface.

Both cameras are shutterless, as they are designed to create images by constantly sampling incoming light and generating signals when there are changes in light levels, rather than capturing frames. Both cameras have a 44 x 29 x 45.3 mm footprint and weigh 90 g. They are rated IP 67 and have an operating temperature range of -20°C to 60°C. The camera is designed for machine vision applications such as object recognition, that require high-speed imaging of fast-moving objects, even in extreme lighting conditions.
