Teledyne DALSA Launches new Line Scan Camera

Camera designed for a variety of machine vision tasks, including packaging and inspection applications.

Teledyne DALSA recently launched a new line scan camera, the Linea HS2. A 16K TDI monochrome line scan camera, the HS2 comes equipped with a CMOS sensor with 16384 by 288 resolution, 5 µm pixel size, and up to 1000kHz maximum line rate. It has ultraviolet, visible, and near infrared spectrum capability, able to take images from 193 to 1000 nm and has a 65dB dynamic range and 30 ke- full well. It supports Camera Link HS interface and comes with a M90x1 lens mount option.

The HS2 is especially designed for a variety of machine vision applications, including automated inspections.
