Ruggedized lenses especially designed for machine vision applications performed in harsh conditions.

Computar recently launched a new line of ruggedized machine vision lenses, the MPX series.  These 16 MPixel, 2/3 in lenses feature a 10G anti-vibration and shock resistant design. They come in 8, 12, 16, 25, 35, 50, and 75 mm focal lengths, feature a focus rotation angle that is 3 times wider than conventional lenses, and they are compatible with 2 μm or less pixel size. They are equipped with C-mount lens mounts but also have a CS mount option that can be utilized with a 5 mm adapter. These lenses are especially designed for a wide array of machine vision applications, such as inspecions, that must be performed in harsh environments.
