Imperx has launched the first camera in its new Panther camera series, the AI1-P1911. This series, features an embedded AI core, which enables running a custom trained neural network. The AI1-P1911 features a 2.86 MPixel Sony Pregius IMX429 global shutter CMOS sensor with 1944 x 1472 resolution and 40 fps frame rate. The camera features 4.5 µm global shutter pixels, 77dB dynamic range, and 8-, 10- and 12-bit output modes. It has GigE Vision, PoE output, and supports CIPTM and EitherNet/IPTM. Housed in a IP67 rated enclosure, the camera is especially designed for machine vision applications performed in harsh environments in a variety of industries, including in food and beverage manufacturing, intelligent transportation systems, and surveillance.
