Excelitas Launches New sCMOS camera

Camera designed for advanced machine vision, imaging applications.

Excelitas Technologies Corp. has launched a new sCMOS camera, the pco.edge 9.4 bi CLHS sCMOS camera. This monochrome camera has photon counting capabilities and combines a readout noise level of .3e with a quantum efficiency of up to 85% with a broad spectrum out to NIR. The camera has a 9.4 MPixel sCMOS rolling shutter sensor with 4096 x 2300 resolution and 4.6 µm square pixel size. It can achieve 122 fps frame rate and has a maximum dynamic range of 20,000:1. This camera is especially designed for advanced machine vision and imaging applications, including industrial inspections, wafer inspections, material testing, brightfield microscopy, image intensifier imaging, and more.
