JAI recently expanded its Sweep + series of prism based RGB line scan cameras with the launch of the SW-4000T-CXPA and the SW-8000T-CXPA. Both cameras feature plug-and-play CXP-12 interface, which can achieve data output speeds of 12.5 Gbps, and both cameras are equipped with three CMOS sensors mounted on a dichroic prism, which is designed to eliminate color fringes caused by vibrations. Both cameras are available with F-mount or M52 mount lens options.

The SW-4000T can deliver RGB streams at up to 97kHz. It offers pixel options of 7.5 µm x 7.5 µm and 7.5 µm x 10.5 µm ; the SW-8000T can deliver at up to 49kHz and features 3.75 µm x 3.75 µm rectangular pixels.

These cameras are especially designed for machine vision tasks such as battery, semiconductor, food, and print inspections, sorting for waste management and recycling applications, and web-based applications such as roll material inspections.
